New Year’s Eve Reflection

[100-word Challenge]

What? New Year’s Eve already? Wow! Time goes fast.

Before you know it, it’ll be Christmas… Again!

Years roll faster…faster… faster.

Does it seem like that for you?

Caught in the vortex of habits.

Our life, our behaviour by middle-age, mostly habit; the drama of life played out Christmas to Christmas.

The queen, the joker, the favourite and black sheep all play their part. We make sure they do, don’t we?

Otherwise, how would we cope if the lines, the actors, the set and the script changed?

This New Year, slow down, be authentic and savour the joy life brings.
